Not so new any more, think I've had them on pretty much every day for a month!
New pair of brown brogues to follow soon as I'm falling out of love with me current ones.
ETA I feel so fking old, I can't even take a photo properly and upload it to the banternet. Fk sake.
PPS. Remember when red trainers were mental? One barely sees a simple white sneaker these days.

Got some Ted Baker shoes, not sure I like them...
And I like the coloured laces... look a bit different. (or a bit special whatever)
Recently purchased my first pair of 'proper' shoes.
Liked the traditional brogue look but the different leathers. A bit more workmanship in them and look a bit more trendy. I did notice when I looked at various examples of the same model they all were quite varied in colour. Sales just said it was likely just down to different production dates.
Shoes came in a box and were each in a cotton drawstring bag. Should I keep them in the bag and in the box, one or the other or just out in the air?
I also purchased some Seeadler cedar shoe horns.
Model is James 11 chesnut/Dark Leaf

What does everyone think of Jeffrey West shoes?
Im looking for a decent make and a couple of pairs for work and smart.
Seen some that are not too outlandish as work shoes, but I know the name as a designer and not sure on the quality compared to churches, etc.
If not those, then what else can I look at?
Try not to go above £150 a pair.
Fed up of my £45-60 work shoes last 6 months before dying on me.
Also Im a size 10 but quite a broad hobbits foot, will a 10 in JW shoes fit or are they quite narrow?
Im trying a set on tomorrow, but thought I would ask on here whilst I wait for the weekend.

Is this the right place to dive in for a bit of shoe care support?
My shoes aren't anywhere near the calibre of some of the stuff on here (in fact my finest is a pair of Ted Bakers at not much over the ton!).
I have two pairs for work, and swap them out evenly. They get a polish every ten days (of wear) with a tin of kiwi polish, and then sprayed with some protector stuff.
I've found they're still drying out though which is causing the creases where the shoe bends above the toes to look pretty manky. I gather my next step is some sort of conditioner to be added into my monthly routine pre-polish. Can anyone suggest something as all I seem to find is express shine creams etc...
Also how big a deal are shoe trees? Should I be looking at two pairs asap to keep things tip top?
Oh and of course a picture (I think someone on the previous page has the same pair!):
Thanks!

I did some research on shoe cream/conditioner and my view is that saphir renovateur is THE stuff to use.
I have some and its a great product. I've used it on all my shoes and also on old belts that I was about to throw out. It really bring the leather back to life!

Factory shop still not what anyone would call cheap
Almost impossible to see imperfections
I'm thinking about touring the factory shops to pick up some pairs.Almost impossible to see imperfections
What was your experience like?
Was there a good range in each size? Were they all imperfects?
Roughly how much were you looking at for Barkers, Churchs, C&Js?
