I'm looking for a pair of decent dealer / Chelsea boots, preferably a pair that stays smart, I'm not wanting the type that develops to a distressed patina. Plain, non brogued that will polish up. So far, these two have caught my eyes, no affiliation to the shop etc.

Anyone got any other suggestions, ideally same sort of ballpark price?

so true. One for the Sneakerheads/Trainer fans. What better way to start the year than with a new pair of trainers..? Well, I finally managed to get my hands on a pair of the very first ever Reebok Pumps from 1989 albeit a 2014 re-release:
Left to right: a pair of battered Fire Red 3 Air Jordans (2007 re-release), Reebok Pump 1989 (2014 re-release), Nike Air Max '92 (2014 re-release), Custom Reebok Omnilite Pump (2012), True Blue Mk3 Air Jordans (2011 release), Reebok Twilight Zone Pump (2010 re-release), Nike Air Hyperflight (2001).

What does that button behind the heel do? is that the release valve?
Yes, that is the air release valve. Only the very first model of Pumps had this. The subsequent models all had the release valve on the tongue e.g. the Twilight Zone and Omni Lite Pumps that can be seen in my collection photo have this.doogz said:
I've posted pictures of shoes on here previously, and had similar advertising agency/estate agent comments. Only ever on here though.
I don't think I've ever even met an estate agent before, never bought/sold a house that way.
I don't know any estate agents that would be allowed to wear shoes like that. But certainly in advertising they're rife. I took a photo of 5 blokes talking (we were at a training day, I work for ad company) and there were 6 blokes talking to each other, they all had dark jeans with slight turn up, and the exact same brown brogues as each other, quite amusing. Its why I got non brogue Grensons I don't think I've ever even met an estate agent before, never bought/sold a house that way.

i love brogues though, got several pairs in various colours, so not fussed what people's views are. they suit me, whereas i think loafers, square toed shoes etc. just look wrong. i'm a bloke and so i'll stick with what i know and like!

Are they Ted Baker? I have had my eye on those but i think i am going to get the Loake Fearnly, But they are £155!
What size and colour you after? I haven't tried on the Ted baker, I seem to recall these were £120, for that price I might as well pay the extra £35 and get the Loake's - these appear to be so popular that they are never in the sale.
I have a pair of old RM williams ( got them in 1992) I cannot believe that the same pair are currently retailing at £300!
