What market stall did you get them from? laugh
The hugo boss stall in lakeside.

Not keen on the crease on the front after wearing them but ho hum
I'm usually a 10. I tried a 10 on for 5 minutes, walked round the shop and noticed a crease in the trainer, ended up buyng 9s.

Thats a brand I'd long forgotten! Whatever happened to Rucanor as well?

I really like those, Ive never had a pair of Loakes, is there anything I should know regards sizing, i.e. typically come up small/large/narrow/etc?
They come up quite large, nearly everyone goes down 1/2 size down on the G fit and most still do on the F fit too.

Never heard of it.

Donnay, Umbro, Dunlop - SportsDirect sells plenty of cheaper stuff...

Is it bad to store shoes like this, stacked on each other?

Was all excited to get my new shoes rack, only to realise it's ultra narrow!
Looks like it may be for women's shoes?

I don't know, but I wouldn't want to keep my shoes like that. Maybe if they were in shoe bags so leather wasn't touching leather would be better, but even so not ideal for me. My shoe rack is simply three shelves, no dividers so easy to store my size 11G shoes.
I think you're probably right. It may have said up to suit 9 or 10 and I probably ignored it.

I've got bags for one pair but not the others. I think I'll take the internal dividers out for the top two rows so my shoes can rest in peace.

Isn't it simply left shoes on the top row and right shoes beneath? smile

That way plenty of room for cotton wool and the shoe trees feel important also....

In case you haven't guessed, I wouldn't store mine that way. Had a minor polishing frenzy yesterday morning so will take a couple of piccys.

aiming for some that style for my wedding, they do lots of variants, not sure whether to go with the blue or not!

They're nice. I'll be going for similar for my wedding too. Blue adds a bit more than just a plain tan.

The burgundy looks nice also (for anyone looking for a wedding shoe). They are very comfy, barely had to bed them in.

The tartan ones are nice too... they are called Jackson. From the Barker website I got free shoe trees which are really good quality so worth the £15 extra compared to some other sites than stock this brand.

Nice.

Was about to impluse buy, but they are sold out in my size.

Shame.
Check them, I signed up for the size update, and never got any email but they randomly had some in stock. Highly recommend them.

I also like these shoes. They are however very "trendy" and I wouldn't wear them to a wedding to be honest. It would be better to go for a more timeless classic black Oxford style which will still look nice when you look back at your photos in 50 years time.

If you're looking for proper shoes you could do worse than buy from Herring. As well as many of the big brands their own label are often made by the Northampton makers.
If you are interested I have a 10% discount code for Herring's own.
