I see many blokes walking around central London with decent looking brogues on but sadly, most of the time they appear to have bought their jeans from the Clarkson hand-me down collection. confused

Asked on the Jeffrey-West website this morning about shoe care for these.

They're not polished, and she's going to give me a tin of wax polish for free.

What a superb service.

I would hope someone that buys that many examples of one thing will be able to spot a fake... Wouldn't they??
Yes exactly
I think the problem with Adidas in the UK is that it is harder to get hold of some stuff that is a lot more readily available on the continent and cheaper, too. I can get Handball Spezial's in practically any colourway in Sweden for between £30-£55 depending on if they're on sale or not. People were offering £100+ for a pair of green ones a few weeks ago.
The green ones (if the ones i purchased and posted about a month back) are a German only release that was never on sale on any other country so obvs they are a little harder to get hold of etc, Think i paid £90 for them delivered.

How do you manage to keep up with all the releases so well? I can barely keep up with what's releasing in the UK, let alone any country-exclusive releases. Similarly, does Adidas often release within a single country or is that more due to Germany being their home territory?

This is one of the only pairs in recent times I can think of that has been a country exclusive, Certainly the style they I tend to buy anyways all though I could be wrong.

We have a 'crossover' range!
Church's now doing trainers: Mirfield.
A snip at £220.

Having subjected myself to JD Sport in Leicester last week I am drawn to any leisure footwear that wouldn't be considered "sick" or "dope".

In other news, using the correct colour polish makes a huge difference.
These Cheaney's are about two years old, seen plenty of wear and been back to the factory once to be resoled. I'd been using a light tan polish and while they looked clean and shiny they were gradually getting lighter. The other day I found some chestnut cream and the difference is remarkable - back to original colour. cool

Don't shop in JD?

Shop elsewhere?

Certain demographics would term a McLaren P1 as dope or sick - would that stop you buying one if you could?

Thought not smile

I have to agee about the laces.

I always do mine in a normal parralel fashion (I'm sure it will have a name)

That to me looks like you try too hard.

Nice shoes though.

Every time I polish my shoes I lace them differently. Guess I'm a bit odd. hehe
