Can anyone advise on sizing for herring shoes.
My fitted running shoes and other trainers are UK11 all my loakes are UK10 will herring be similar to loake sizing?
I'd start by reading the description of the particular model you are interested in. Herring sometimes state whether the shoe is made by Loake, Cheaney, etc. They also suggest whether you sould size up or down.My fitted running shoes and other trainers are UK11 all my loakes are UK10 will herring be similar to loake sizing?
Which model are you thinking of?

Cheers I didn't realise they state about fit so I'll take a look. However I've just realised that they are a pair of barker lutons I'm looking at. Any ideas on barkers sizing?
I don't have experience of that last. The Barker Luton I found on Herring was available as G width (wide fit) only. Unless you usually go for wide fit, it might be a bit loose on you. I'd also go for the calf leather rather than polished binder as a personal preference. The binder will probably hold up better in the rain, but will be stiffer and look a bit plastic.CharlesdeGaulle said:
Those blue ones at the front are awful. The rest look good, but v brown!
They're black, and my oldest pair by a long way. Bought from the High St for my wedding some 7 years ago when I was unaware of the options in mens shoes. They rarely see the light of day anymore. I think they're Ted Baker or similar. The rest are brown because I spend my life in smart casual at work so more suited to chinos or smart jeans. I might invest in a nice black pair to replace those Ted Bakers sometime though for the suited occasions.
