Not technically new but I recently had my favourite suede Chelsea boots re-soled and heeled, literally as good as new for a fraction of the price of a new pair of the same quality!

8 months and the reason to start this topic.

Quick snap - didn't post the Van Liers until now. Sorry.

Who strings their laces like this?

Arrived today, so thats three days from order.

Good fit...some nice touches; a little pocket on the top of the tongue and a retainer to hold laces in place where you wrap them around top of the boot...I'm liking these!

I've recently bought two pairs of shoes with leather uppers and soles from The Telegraph shop. The quality is superb, although not as good as bespoke shoes, they're much better than the likes of high street shoes. The soles are glued and stiched.

http://shop.telegraph.co.uk/mm-bogofleathershoes/c...

All for the bargain price of under £40 including P&P. For two pairs!

Highly recommended.
Out of interest how are they wearing? Which variant did you go for? I think I may try some of these. The oxfords and brogues look nice. As do the deck shoes...

Very striking, as is that womans bottom in the painting...at least I hope it's a womans for my sake.

Picked up a pair of these green Addidas Gazelles the other week and am quite enjoying them as they're the first pair of trainers I've bothered to buy in years. smile

Whilst I have nothing against the shoes, I am assuming having looked at your profile and ruled out the option of you living in sunnier climes, that these were an absolutely fking steal in the sales, and bought in readiness for an upcoming holiday or the hopes of a better summer this year?

clearly it is the scale and perspective in that photo... but it makes you look like you must be about 17 feet tall with size 20 feet!
