Not sure when I'll actually wear them.

The last pair of shoes I bought:

I do race my car so I can have propper fireproof shoes. Problem is they are so damn comfy I am thinking about buying a second pair to wear as general use trainers.

I like those. Similar style to boxing boots perhaps?
Don't you sweat in them though? Not sure if breathable.

Depends - do you have the rest of the gear?

I have spent full days at them at the drag strip (only time I wear them) and had no problems with sweaty feet in them that said we haven't had a truly hot day yet, acid test will be Sunday at York Raceway. One thing I can say though is the rest of the fire suit is rather warm hehe

Whilst I have nothing against the shoes, I am assuming having looked at your profile and ruled out the option of you living in sunnier climes, that these were an absolutely fking steal in the sales, and bought in readiness for an upcoming holiday or the hopes of a better summer this year?
Yes and yes.
First holiday in 5 years. smile

I've recently bought two pairs of shoes with leather uppers and soles from The Telegraph shop. The quality is superb, although not as good as bespoke shoes, they're much better than the likes of high street shoes. The soles are glued and stiched.

http://shop.telegraph.co.uk/mm-bogofleathershoes/c...

All for the bargain price of under £40 including P&P. For two pairs!

Highly recommended.
Wow it appears that offer's still on, bargain.
Excellent deal, just ordered thank you!

I really like the look of those, where did you get them.

I'm not sure I ever really payed much attention to this thread before but I'm pretty sure that my slight shoe obsession is getting out of hand now.

this thread delivers more hilarity. Mainly because I am picturing 45 year old men wearing childrens' footwear... but that's because I tend to forget PH does actually have young people on it.
