I like the look of those CT shoes - was it you that bought those wholecuts too?

Do you know if these new ones are from their premium range? I noticed in their catalogues that they have a premuim range (made in UK) and a mid-range set made in spain or somewhere. Any idea who made these?
Looks like the classic range, the made in the UK are more expensiveThey are called Parker toe cap brogue at £119.00 each but got them for £207 on a Black Friday deal.

Where are the Paul Smith's made please? Like some of their stuff but never quite sure with them whether you're getting something English made or shoes from Thailand.
I know nothing of their shoes, but some of the other stuff I have seen / bought has been overpriced, poor quality tat.13m said:

Yes I have a far bit of their overpriced tat. When I know I'm mostly paying for the name (like with jeans etc.) I'm OK with it, but shoes are a little different obviously because buy crap and they'll fall apart, buy decent and they'll last years. If you look at the welt where the uppers meet the sole, you can see the stiching on the Cheaneys showing it's a propper Goodyear Welted (sewn) construction. The Paul Smiths don't have the stiching though so I believe they are of "cemented" (glued) construction.
Nice looking shoes, but the construction isn't the same level as the welted shoes.

Thanks, the PS is made in Italy. I believe the PS Jeans shoes are made elsewhere. Romania perhaps?
The welts are Blake construction hence you can't see the stitching outside.
Here's a snap of the bottom It is probably one of the most comfortable shoes I've had.
Here's the rest of the brown shoes purchased this year
A mix of Cheaney, Barker, PS & Jones.

I'm looking for some shoes and hadn't realised Jones are owned/part of Church's.
Does anyone know where Jones own brand shoes are made and what the quality is like?
Thinking I may nip over the Northampton and try some of the factory shops - does anyone know if it's worth it?
All over, some are £15 shoes from Delhi, and some are proper English made that are decent. Does anyone know where Jones own brand shoes are made and what the quality is like?

The Northampton factory shops are well worth a visit. Be aware of the opening times though and plan your visit. For example, some do not open on a weekend (Trickers?) and some only open friday afternoon and saturday morning I think. Barkers shop is massive and you will definately find something you like there.Does anyone know where Jones own brand shoes are made and what the quality is like?
