Are the kangaroo leather Borg Elites made in Italy? I know there were Made in Italy versions and I'm assuming they're bound to be among them. Great purchase there though, I'm sure they'll be worth a pretty penny in time.
Yea they are made in Italy as well, Think its a great touch having them individually numbered, Im sure they will be worth a bit in a few years time if I still have themmarkoc said:
Any opinions on Jeffery West? I really can't stand boring shoes, and want a black pair for the office that look a little different
I have 20 pairs now so you can say im a bit of a fan. They are different and good quality BUT you will need the shoe trees to stop them wrinckling, you will scuff them walking around and no you cant military polish them etc because most have a coating over the leather. On the plus side they are much more interesting than most.edited to add - there are two quality levels. Dont bother with the crap you can buy from Next etc go for the range from their own shops / their website online

A few weeks? Do you walk a lot or did they simply wear down very quickly? I don't think I've ever had shoes that lasted only a few weeks. :O
They just wore down real quick, worn in rotation and not in the rain. My usual walk, less than 2 miless a day to and from the station. Since having the dainite soles they have been much better. Wearing my loakes, trickers or barkers on the same repeated journeys have never worn down anywhere near as muchEdited by sunil4 on Monday 29th February 22:43

I only got the chestnut boots in the end. I can't stop thinking about those green Stows though. I'm not sure what I could wear them with.
Yeah safer to stick with more normal tones, check out retricker on eBay....http://stores.ebay.co.uk/R-E-Tricker-1829#
I'm not sure what thickness neoprene the Aigles have, but the 3mm on the Le Chameaus make them feel like slippers when you put them on.
I've not tested them in proper conditions yet, but they seem a notch above in quality compared to the Aigles. (NB my Aigles are "Made in France", while the Le Chameaus are "Made in Morocco")
PS saying putting "the" in front of Le Chameau seems no less weird than missing it out. I can't decide what is grammatically correct.

.
I've just bought a pair of Chameau. They are too soft to walk in and I've had to buy some insoles and boot liners to make them usable..
