I haven't, but if you do decide to try and hunt a pair down, the word 'sneakerboot' is worth using on eBay. A cursory glance suggests £150-£200 will be needed. Personally I don't like the appearance of the 95 but I suspect they're comfortable. There were also sneakerboot versions of the Air Max 90 and Air Max 1, but they mightn't appeal.

My old pair of Converses have worn out so, naturally, I bought three pairs to replace them. biggrin
you should have bought the coverse chuck taylor ii's. it refreshens up the look a little and is much more comfortable because of the gel insert.

They're very comfy! My American mate has tracked down a pair for £90, so I'm getting her to get them for me! biggrin
Not so keen on those other designs, I like the split heel/soul design on the 95, it's like a shoe. Best of both worlds as I see it. biggrin

Why do they have a diagram of the female reproductive organs embossed onto the toes?

Here's a few of mine. At the back are 2 new pairs from Jones the bookmaker, front right are Loakes and front left (needing a good clean) are cheap and nasties from Next.

Standing by for the PH ribbing to commence.

The shoe trees in the back 2 pair are different to the one in the front 2. Fair enough, no ones died, but still.......

taken advantage of the sales and weak pound this weekend. oliver sweeney pendleton and aldeburgh shoes and some cheaney boots. the aldeburghs are the comfiest shoes i've had, no break in required and a perfect fit. the cheaney's i haven't seen as their leeds shop didn't have that exact style. tried the same boot in plain leather/leather sole for size and then took advantage of the free international shipping.

When I get to wear them is another matter, 46degc back home today!

Instead you post a picture of boots that appear to be, in part, actually MADE from hotel carpet.

rofl

It is a distressing trend I have noticed (the boots in question aside)...
None of the shoe makers seem to be offering a spectator shoe with simple, traditional white leather. They all seem to be chopping up bits of hotel carpet for re-purposing these days.
Even walking the length of Jermyn Street, I found nothing, though I did see a very dapper looking chap sporting a pair of brown and white spectators.
