^^ That site is taking the piss, surely?
Well considering their article on '5 ways to wear white trainers' includes advice on how to wear white trainers to a wedding... I would totally disregard anything else they have to say following that little gem.White trainers at a wedding. For fk sake.
My brother got married in the south of France recently and everyone was extremely smartly turned out, apart from two pillocks who turned up (boyfriends of two of the female invitees) wearing those stupid 3/4 length trousers that have turn ups,, loafers with no socks, and those skinny fit flowery shirts you wear without a tie but with the top button done up.
They looked like they had been kicked through that 'Threads' website and out the other side.

Ahhh, the traditional 'shoplifter look'. Couldn't get much more council this side of Reebok Classics. In white leather.
The Reebok Classic is about due to come back into popular culture. Or finish its sentence. Some one of the two. I've seen a version I like, but I simply don't like the design of the tongue on the Classic silhouette. I don't have a problem with white trainers (I can't have, I have a few pairs) but I recognise wearing them to a wedding is a bad idea.
Common Projects have their own market, but I've seen it said many times that you're better buying them on sale than for full-price. They're probably a better pair of trainers for the money than some rare or limited-edition pair of Nike / Adidas (but I'm not sure they're the ones I'd buy). If you're looking a similar shape for less money, try and find a pair of Adidas Rod Laver, as they're the main inspiration behind the CP's design.

Also, since you guys have a clue. Anything particular jump to mind to replace some ageing Onitsuka Tigers as everyday trainers? All white Adidas ZXs or Nike FlyKnits?

Ahem, my friend got married in the south of France recently and I wore turned up (pink) chinos, loafers with no socks and a skinny fit shirt (albeit plain). As did all the others, but they went for blue breeks as they have no style. They looked like they had been kicked through that 'Threads' website and out the other side.
I looked fking great.
