Went a bit over board on running shoes in the past couple of weeks. Some good deals I couldn't pass up.
1) On Cloud black/black limited edition because limited edition
2) On Cloud Blue/Yellow for magic mile and interval work
3) On Cloudcruiser in denim/red for more of a casual shoe but also for 5k events
4) On Cloudflyer for longer distance runs (10k - half marathon)

I love my On shoes. Onto my 3rd/4th pairs now. Have you seen their new clothing range? Quite like the look of it.1) On Cloud black/black limited edition because limited edition

Yeah. I'm getting towards retiring a couple of pairs. Liking the look of the trail shoes. Saw the clothes. Look impressive. I'm waiting for a stockist near me so I can have a look.

If we ignore the bottom jacket button being done up and focus on the positive: He is the only one of the three that doesn't look like an extra from a low-budget drift movie.
aka the only one not good looking?@13M and the others who mentioned it thanks for the tip on not doing up the bottom button of the jacket and waistcoat I will try to remember that for the next time I wear the suit but realistically this will now sit in my wardrobe for the next however many years unless I change job to somewhere other than the end of the meat trade I am in at present theres not much call for suits when inspecting abattoirs
The jacket sleeves are on the long side as well, though your friend on the right is guilty also.
Can the PH high priests of sartorial etiquette help me with this one? I went to a reasonably posh place for Sunday dinner, it was a hot day so I took off my suit jacket and hung it over the back of the chair. Err no, your supposed to leave the jacket on but unbutton it. I wasn't wearing a tie if that's any mitigation(or it just makes it worse?)

I guess there must been an age where men weren't "supposed" to remove their jackets indoors (and maybe perhaps also outdoors)?A few places in London reserve the right to kick you out if you are jacket-less or remove it at any point during the evening (Annabels, Ritz restaurant)
at a wedding you're not "meant to" take your jacket off till the groom does... or something. Personally i think that even at a wedding you can do what the fk you like if its hot. Or probably in any temperature. Tradition can be hateful but not as hateful as those that try to enforce it against reason.

I hate sitting down with a jacket on, so lucky i can't afford the ritz!!
It's not that expensive in comparison to other London hotels. I'm OK with £300 a night on a london hotel... but £500+?
i've been to plenty of work events etc at these places but out of my own pocket? Narp.

I think I paid £375 for a small suite when I took Mrs 13M there a couple of years ago. That included a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake. That's quite good value in London terms, isn't it?
That would be.But as the normal rate is more than that for a room and more than double for a junior suite you got a deal of deals. Especially including the Pop.
I have stayed a couple of times for parties and it's
a) not as good as it thinks it is
b) farking expensive, even just for drinks.
