Nope.

These are the ones I wear when attending a Hoe Down.

Although, I can thoroughly recommend not going down on the Hoes around here in general tongue out

Just admit it, you want to come to the YMCA with me biggrin

TBH, they don't really look any different to Chelsea boots unless you roll the legs up on your jeans.

Note to self: Don't wear them to the lodge meeting silly

Under what circumstances would you need "nice" safety shoes?
When visiting industrial clients, 80% of the visit is usually meeting in the offices with the management team to present our technology but then we tend to walk through the site and look at the proposed locations for the new equipment. It can be a hassle for the client to go to the other side of the site to source some shoes for me.
It annoys me when sales types turn up to site without boots as it smacks of incompetence even though it's no bother for me to find a pair of slip over steel toes. Suggest you buy a pair of those or just some normal safety shoes. Formal style safety shoes just look cheap. Just like the products you're selling wink

Do yourself a favour and keep a duffle bag with full PPE in the car

For the record, my default is to turn up to the meetings in my normal (black leather) safety boots unless I think we are not going to be walking the site. Plus, our equipment sells for an average of about £1m GBP, so not too cheap. Thanks for your input though.

only a million? In which case I'd forgive the cheap shoes and donate you a hard hat from our benevolent fund

Keep the boots, forget the brogue/derby types.

I have been living in these for the last couple of weeks, well impressed with them.

Geox, Mattias boot.
It is part of their Amphibiox (sp?) range, they still have holes in the soles to let your feet breathe but also waterproof. And they work, really impressed.

Oh, and seriously comfy!!!

Did you find their sizing seems a little off? Usually I'm a 9, occasionally an 8, but I've just had a pair of Uk 7s delivered and even they're too big!

Bought these fairly cheap online last week and they're the most comfortable boots I've ever worn
