Not very often but I do live in Texas so I have them as well as the obligatory pick-up truck & gun
So they aren't safety boots then? These are the ones I wear when attending a Hoe Down.
Although, I can thoroughly recommend not going down on the Hoes around here in general

Crotchless leather chaps.TBH, they don't really look any different to Chelsea boots unless you roll the legs up on your jeans.
Note to self: Don't wear them to the lodge meeting

Under what circumstances would you need "nice" safety shoes?
When visiting industrial clients, 80% of the visit is usually meeting in the offices with the management team to present our technology but then we tend to walk through the site and look at the proposed locations for the new equipment. It can be a hassle for the client to go to the other side of the site to source some shoes for me.Do yourself a favour and keep a duffle bag with full PPE in the car

I have been living in these for the last couple of weeks, well impressed with them.
Geox, Mattias boot.
It is part of their Amphibiox (sp?) range, they still have holes in the soles to let your feet breathe but also waterproof. And they work, really impressed.
Oh, and seriously comfy!!!
Did you find their sizing seems a little off? Usually I'm a 9, occasionally an 8, but I've just had a pair of Uk 7s delivered and even they're too big!Geox, Mattias boot.
