I have some Asics for this season's XC - they ahve a neoprene inner 'sock' to stop stones and stuff getting into the shoe.
Sock thing's a nice idea, does it work well? Flipping hate getting stones/twigs/etc down the back of my shoe

Any ideas on where I can get a box to post my shoes back to Loake?

I don't have the original (which they say they won't return anyway!), and I don't seem to have anything else in the house I could put them in!
You can fashion a shoe sized box with only a bigger box and some tape wink

Post offices normally have a good selection of boxes for 'assembly'.

Stuff both shoes with newspaper. Put one shoe in a supermarket carrier bag and tape it up. Put that shoe in another carrier bag with the second shoe. Tape up the bag with parcel tape until you have a mummified pair of shoes. Post to Loake.

Loake will hate you, but you are paying for shoe repairs not friendship.

The Athens will sell out straight away so there will be people trying to sell / make a profit straight after release as usual. Got both the Moscow and St petersberg Gor-tex Gazelle's on order as they are an Xmas present so can't have them yet haha, good luck with the Athens. Hope you manage to sort a pair. Little tip..... get the size app on your phone and keep refreshing about 7:42-7:49 as they will appear on there early and will be sold or by the time they are meant to go on sale at 8am
Great tip thanks mate!! I downloaded the app the other day, so all good to go.

If I do not like then for some reason do you recon I would sell them quickly afterwards? I am a 7.
The Hawaii is awesome and I would use the money to get a pair of them. Where would you trade these? I have looked at facebook but with very little luck!

Bought these canvas DM shoes for my lad after the school said they can't educate him if he wears the Doc Marten boots which last for a million years. Bought from the Doc Shop in Wollaston at the weekend. £25. I love the Doc Shop.

Hopefully his current A* grades will be now off the scale...

There will be lots of people missing out on these so should be easy to get rid if you don't no like or just send them back to size for a refund

Works really well -they take some getting used to, particularly putting them on, but definitely a good thing over the course of a race.

Love that truck.

Also like the sound of Goatys blue suit, and I don't like suits. But I do like 30's gangsters.

I recently purchased a pair of each of the below, excuse the links, I've not yet had the time or inclination to photograph my own feet.

There's an additional 2 cupholders on the back of the center console and 2 in the armrest on the back seat so 8 in total.

Seeing as there's only 5 seats, that is a bit of overkill and I can only presume the others are for holding your spitoon for the baccy juice wink

These bad boys. Ted Baker. Have a pair of dress brogues which have lasted really well so went for these. Very comfortable and appear to be quite rugged.

Had a pair of these a few years ago. Loake. Absolutely battered them to death in the winters. They only died after I fell into the sea off a rock twitting about. Stuck them in the boot of the car and forgot about them for a couple of weeks. Kernackered.
