How long do we think merlot / burgundy is going to be a thing?

I am on the lookout for a decent briefcase and Bally has got a model I like in merlot with 40% off. All the other colours are full price.

Burgundy / merlot / dark red is everywhere at the moment - but for how long?

My fav pair I own are the SNS Stockholm but are limited to 390 pairs made and are very hard to get hold of so they would be my first choice

Failing that a more commonly obtained pair and one of the comfiest I own are the Hochelaga from last years Spezial range which are superb in my opinion, I do have both colours but the blue are fantastic

Those Stockholm's could do with a bit of a shave!

Disco, very nice. Did you buy them online and if so from where as I'd like a pair?
In person, from the outlet store in Cheshire Oaks. £240 due to having a blemish; a dark spot on one of the toes. I'll post a picture after I have given them a polish with some light polish to see how they come out, not that it is particularly noticeable at the moment.

Thanks, pretty similar to my Maltby that I bought from Bicester. Apparently seconds but I'm yet to find the issue - still not worn these..

I keep looking at those. Undecided if they're special needs or supermarket cheapies. They certainly don't look designer and they're definitely not worth anywhere near what will have been paid for them.

Also these finally got delivered this weekend after waiting a week. The second of 4 size? Exclusive city series gazelle's all 4 models are fully goretex lined and limited to 1500 pairs

Finally got a pair of these on the way, had to pay a little over RRP to get them but for me, the best of the recent gazelle GTX.

That site looks pretty good, and the shoes are very reasonably priced. Pity I don't get to the NL very often these days.
Wearing my first pair today. Very comfy. Break-in time is very short, which is a good sign in my book.

First time I've seen cork as an upper material on shoes. I presume it's real cork, rather that screen printed.

These are Grensons too, with proper welted leather soles,

Cork can't be very robust, can it?
