Personally, I would apply a light coat of Saphir neutral cream polish before wearing them outside to give some basic protection against the rain.
Thanks. I have Saphir Renovateur, is that the stuff you mean?I was however talking about the cream polish that also comes in a range of colours. There is a neutral version which looks exactly the same as your reno jar but the white contents is a bit thicker.

I can't see any pricing on there, and I can't be bothered to call them. I'm assuming around £50.LordGrover said:
Hello Grover, you've been low-profile recently haven't you.All OK?
Samba SPZL has arrived!
First impressions are that I really like them; from a fit and finish perspective they set the bar high for other SPZL releases in future. The only thing I'm not so sure about is the insole in the left shoe, which is lifting a bit because, I assume, the glue did not set properly. I think it'll bed down with wear, but otherwise, I'm impressed with these.
Comparing them to the standard Samba Super silhouette there are a few differences, mostly in the shape of the toebox and the vamp. It might be because they're a new style I haven't seen often, but I think I prefer the SPZL shape at the moment. Time will tell.

They're really nice. I almost went for a pair but thought they were a little expensive when they came out. A bit of a bargain now thoughFirst impressions are that I really like them; from a fit and finish perspective they set the bar high for other SPZL releases in future.
