Pretty sure that reflectors work whether on a hideous orange shoe or indeed on a black one.
Yeah but black ones wouldn't match my new top laugh

Shirley you could've picked these up on any British High Street/out of town retail park? Why go all the way to Austria?
Perhaps that's where the tramp wearing them that he had to mug to steal them was residing?

Such variation on the selected styles and colours there.... wink

I picked up a pair of these from the local Geox store last weekend. Very comfortable and size 9 fit well when I usually wear 10s.

I like those smile

Have you seen the price of those Saphir products? It would be cheaper to buy a new sofa!

I've got a pair of those on the left. They're extremely comfortable; sizing is on the large size (I'm usually an 81/2 - 9 but ended up with size 7).

Looking for some views/opinions on the following shoes. I should point out that I hate buying shoes as I dislike 95% of whats on offer - I also seem to have morphed into my dad having started buying the same shoes over and over again as they are comfy (Merrell). Anyway, I went into Clarks today looking for a pair of shoes to go with a suit as they had 20% off - couldn't decide between these two....

I ended up buying both pairs as I tend to go through shoes - my left leg is short by 30mm due to a childhood condition (perthes disease) so I get them built up (on the heal and insert). I am normally a 9.5 but ended up with size 8 so their sizing is definitely a bit off.
Finally got my shoes back after the hospital fitted the raise (18mm on the heal and 9mm insert) and I am really impressed with how comfy they are. The Clarks sizing is odd though - every other shoe I wear is a 10 yet they are size 8 and fit perfectly.

When I was young I absolutely hated wearing a built up show because back then they just glued an inch of rubber onto the sole which made me very self conscious. When I was in my teens I remember saving up for a pair of Adidas Torsion (very cool back then) which I then hid from my mum - one morning I woke to find the left trainer was missing and correctly guessed that she had found them and had taken it to get built up. They had sanded the tread down and glued a massive chunk of rubber over the "torsion" bar yikes I took a bread knife to return it to its former glory, but because they sanded the sole I have even more or a discrepancy! Over the years they have refined their technique and now take a band saw to the shoe to split then insert the raise - here are a couple of pairs of shoes I bought last year (Timberland/Camper) but never wore as I went off them but am growing to like again (I am a nightmare when it come to shoes/clothes...)

This is a shameless advert but also bought a Calvin Klein leather jacket (Large - £250) which I wore a couple of time before deciding it is too big - £90 plus £10 p/p if anybody is interested.....

I don't suppose anyone here has a proper shoe rack/cabinet?

I'm wanting to get something to store about 8 pairs with their shoe-trees in. I would also prefer it to have a glass door so I can see in but keep the dust out.

I have a purpose built shoe cupboard. Takes about 72 pairs. Mrs 11 has snaffled most of that space...

Nice!

I don't suppose you have a photo of it? Is it designed to fit within fitted bedroom cupboards?

I have no photos. It's part of a purpose built dressing room: wardrobes on one side, shoes storage the other.

No probs.

72 pairs is ambitious! I'm trying to be selective regarding the capacity of the rack. I will not be able to have any empty slots! I made that mistake with my watch storage box. paperbag
