I sense an underlying theme of homophobia amongst the so called liberal progressive members of PH so at that I will bow out of this one.
I think I've lost the train of thought here. Are you saying homosexuals stand weird or have unusual footwear?

In an attempt to also get back on topic..... I have dome new shoes.

In order to post piccys though, don't I have to stick them online somewhere and link to that? Or can I paste a piccy these days into a msg?

Picked these up on the weekend after a quick visit to Gunwharf Quays.

Nike Air Max Lunar 1.
I'm confused as to what's gone on in the last page but I know the first thing I thought when seeing them trainers was "people actually wear trainers like that?" My second thought was regarding how you are stood.

OK, so technically they're not mine, but I have just made someone a very happy girl...

She's clearly in pantomime. Surely if she bought them herself they'd be tax-deductible.

I'm sure you would have been better of buying her a guide dog.

I like them!

Mind, I did have handmade platform boots back in the seventies - just giving a tad of balance(needed with my platforms)to the debate.

Haven't worn any of my shoes much since before Christmas really, as such I decided instead of sitting there a bit sorry they should all be polished.

Imagine my rage as I discovered this:

They are 5.5 months old, and are not worn daily (maybe 2-3 times a week). In general they're in pretty good nick too.

I already had to replace them a few weeks after I got them because the sole was peeling off.

Think House of Fraser will do anything?

Look reasonable to me tbh. confused

I'd certainly consider them if I was younger (now an old 31 who only seems to wear Converse All Stars but I also have a a couple of Nike (non Air Max) high tops).

They will ask you whether you've been using them for street luge. I can see no other reason why they would wear like that.

I'm 31 too and I see far too many ex public school types wandering around my way in the typical blue puffer type barber jacket and standard chelsea boots they all look like my dad.

Myself, despite public school, after a week in the church's and suit I like to dress down in some jeans and sneakers on the weekend but each to their own.

But I do enjoy wearing a smart shoe when required.

Why do you think that?

If everyone has the same tastes in things it would be a very boring world we live in, maybe you shoot your load over Churches or Loakes every time you see a pair posted but not everyone does.

Someone else's taste in shoes doesn't deserve a reply like that even if you don't like them.
