Anatomic Gel or Steptronic might be smart enough and definitely comfortable enough.

Anatomic gel shoes are very comfortable. Most are made from a full grain leather which isn't particularly formal, but they do some smooth leather versions which polish up well. I have a nice pair of black oxford toecaps but I cant remember the model name.

I didn't say those two were fashion icons.

Back on topic, my Evisu trainers (bought 2 different pairs) didn't last.
Soles wear out far too easily. Converse much more durable.
Good job they were discounted (sale).
