Has something happened to my perceptions somewhere along the line, or are chaps buying comedy clown shoes?

I think I'd go for the plain look, which probably means the brogues are a better choice.

I wouldn't say either pair were overly flamboyant, and I'm not a particularly flamboyant person either.

They're not formal rules so a bit of something interesting does no harm in my opinion. I would have thought something like this was a bit more clown like?

Plus another pair the same in grey so I can alternate, off camera.

Discount code today only SPRING30 for 30% discount, carriage paid at Jones Bootmaker.

If you're selective they have some decent stuff amongst the not quite so decent.
Just received an email and it seems the offer's on until Sunday.

Auckland, I'm afraid. The make is "Deuce Generation" if that helps you track down some for sale a little closer to home.

Really? I felt it was a bit cheeky for £250 shoe to come with one side pre-creased!

Ah, that explains why I can't find them in the UK.

They don't seem to have distribution/retailers here.

Oh well.

i had a pair of diamond back jeffrey wests a couple of years ago. They looked awful after a few months and after maybe a year or so they were completely worn out. They really aren't worth the money.

There are two different qualities of Jeffery West shoes. Those that are available from their boutique shops (the stuff on their website) which retail for around £300 and those they sell at a lower price in general retail shops of around £120. I have lots of the £300 price level shoes and none of them have worn out prematurely or fallen apart etc. The general difference between JW and other shoes at the £300 mark is they are generally coated leather so they dont need polishing or have various effects on them that make others look quite plain. If they do fall apart the London shops will sort it out for you.
