I received one in the post yesterday.
It may be a personal code and it has conditions too, but you're welcome to try it: TRYAW15
It's £5 off for orders over £50 valid till 11 August.
I had the same code smile

This is getting out of hand quickly. Herring sale landed me new pairs top-left, top-right and front-right. Naturally, 2 more trees incoming from Charles Tyrwhitt too...

I'd start by reading the description of the particular model you are interested in. Herring sometimes state whether the shoe is made by Loake, Cheaney, etc. They also suggest whether you sould size up or down.

Which model are you thinking of?

Cheers I didn't realise they state about fit so I'll take a look. However I've just realised that they are a pair of barker lutons I'm looking at. Any ideas on barkers sizing?

I don't have experience of that last. The Barker Luton I found on Herring was available as G width (wide fit) only. Unless you usually go for wide fit, it might be a bit loose on you. I'd also go for the calf leather rather than polished binder as a personal preference. The binder will probably hold up better in the rain, but will be stiffer and look a bit plastic.

They're black, and my oldest pair by a long way. Bought from the High St for my wedding some 7 years ago when I was unaware of the options in mens shoes. They rarely see the light of day anymore. I think they're Ted Baker or similar.

The rest are brown because I spend my life in smart casual at work so more suited to chinos or smart jeans. I might invest in a nice black pair to replace those Ted Bakers sometime though for the suited occasions.

It's getting like a weird shoe cult in here.

Are some of your partners wondering why you're buying loads of brown shoes and going on about lasts and getting excited about shoe trees? hehe

And this week, it's a darker, plainer (and somewhat cheaper) pair, to alternate with the Barkers:

If they'd had the paisley ones in my size I probably would have bought them rather than the blue suede version.

Do like those brown ones too yes
