It is not the end of the world though, is it? I left mine off when the battery went half-way through a day. I plugged it in about four hours later and I waited less than five minutes and it was up and running again. Just bare in mind it does not turn on at 1%, but restarts at 5% - hence why you wait a little bit. Maybe your charger is broke, and you need to replacement.

That may have ruined your little rant though, to which I appologize. getmecoat
I know it's not the end of the world but with my ancient Nokia or even my old HTC you could use it as soon as it started charging, even from zero. Charger best not be broken, bloody phones less than a month old! Grrr.

Not bigging myself up atall, but whenever I see a beggar outside and I only have card, I go and buy a reduced sandwich (say 55p) and give it to him, makes his bloody day. plus I know he cant spend that on booze or drugs now. win win.
I fear that could set a dangerous precedent with them expecting it all time, at least in town centres.

I used to buy pasties, sausage rolls etc for one guy who used to stay in the subway, until he passed away.

Thats a bit harsh lol

So just the 4 brothers, 4 sisters in law, my 3 kids, 5 asstd nephews/nieces,about 8 cousins and the other halves and children so at least 20 of them, plus my parents, my OH's mum, her brothers and their kids plus all her cousins etc so that is getting on for a hundred people and you want them all to come and stay in my 3 bed semi? I dont even think we have enough floor space for all the sleeping bags biggrin

Yes.

Christmas is being repeated on Dave this year, as Christmas has been outlawed from this year on.

Tell us more about your phone/charger problems!
Daily updates would be good - you could time how many hours it doesn't work for? thumbup

Or you could take it back to the shop as faulty/not fit for purpose (Sale of Goods, 1979 apparently).

Nope, nothing wrong with that - I just wondered as you said that it was a month old which was around when the iPhone 5 came into shops. smile

I have the iPhone 4S and I had a play with a iPhone 5 today and while I like it and prefer it, the 4S is still a great phone. My charger lasted 10 months before giving up - then amazon came to the rescue @ £1.90 so it worst case scenario is just get a new charger. smile
