Was handed a bag of old car mags today at work... While rooting through I stumbled across one which looked a bit more interesting than the others spotted. It was a magazine programme going over the Marlboro British Grandprix at Siverstone dated July 21st 1985! What's makes this magazine a bit more interesting is that a number of the F1 drivers have put their hand-written Autographs in the mag to their faces! - That includes Aryton Senna!yikes

Out of the 30 drivers that's featured have signed the mag are as follows...

Niki Lauda
Martin Brundle
Nelson Piquet
Marc Surer
Elio De Angelis
Aryton Senna
Derek Warwick
Eddie Cheever
Michele Alboreto

Girl at work came in with her two week old Baby to say hello today.
Never held a baby in my life before..really was quite a strange but pleasant experience.

3 possibly 4 are dead. That is potentially worth a lot of cash.

Alboreto came second in that race, if it makes any odds.

I need to see if I can get these signitures authenticated first - Hopefully being genuine could prove a nice little nest egg in the future.bounce

I'll crack up some pics!

He died in (iirc) 2000, which makes more difference. Although being an active Ferrari driver at the time will make a difference for those sheep who buy horse branded tat.

I'd bet they are real. It's a shame that Mansell,Rosberg and Prost aren't on there as then there would be 6 world champions on, rather than "just" 3.

Just looking again...It looks like Prost might of signed it aswell. There's a sig that looks like the one's posted online of his that goes over towards brundles that starts on the bottom right of Prost's pic!

Maybe 4 of 6. Try getting to an event where Rosberg and Mansell are present and complete the set.

Mega money.

I thought mini LSI's equine afflictions, you'd be a little more open minded to the scarlet speed machines, Daddy?

I've just driven back from the horses, and had a bloke, angry that I wouldn't reverse, get out of his car, bang on my car windows, and then try to open my car doors. He was telling me to open my door (through the 1 inch gap I'd wound the window down to speak to him) - not bloody likely. biggrin

(I just had reversed for a sheep lorry, gone forwards again, and he was closer to one of the gateways we use to pass, another car was behind me, anyway).

Is this normal, do you think? Should I report him?
