Would this be another replaced engine with VW under warranty?
Yup. 2nd one ate its cam-belt after one month (12k miles) at 70+ mph.

Apparently it's been plagued with problems since he got it, so is in talks with VW over them getting it back completely and him having a brand spanking new one at no cost as part of his lease deal.

It's also on its 3rd back door, had a new front end and 2x rear ends oh and a new NS sliding door

Homeless people.

How do you feel about the situation?

Last night up in London, we saw quite a few homeless people.. And one came onto the tube train and asked for money, then sat in the corner of the train. It was pretty awkward, and no one really knew how to react.

Is it a difficult subject? Are they there because of their own actions? If you gave them a few quid would it be spent on a cup of tea, or go towards their next shot of drugs?

I don't think being rear ended at 90mph by initial stty link in a sprinter helped, or the bus it pushed him into. £6k repair bill

It's a difficult subject, some are there through their own actions some are not. I'm not averse to giving money to homeless people and I don't generally judge them on what I think they may or may not do with it.

I'm actually quite touched by your altruism.

Not as touched as the poor homeless girl you roofie, obviously.

But still, it's charity work Sir Jimmy would have been proud of.

Bless, you're so naive and provincial.

1. There's a homeless shelter near Old Street. Rest assured that they've made their money for the day in the town centre before they go back to the area; they're just trying to top up. Ignore them, everyone else does. Buy the Big Issue or donate to Shelter if you want to help. Don't, whatever you do, buy them a sandwich.

2. I do hope you didn't make eye contact with anyone on the Tube. Or, heaven forbid, have a conversation.

hehe

It was pretty much a 50/50 demographic, which kind of surprised me. Was a very good show, right at the front, on the barriers, a few ft away from one of Hip Hop's legends. Nice venue, nice area.

We did miss the train home though and had to sit in Waterloo for an hour to wait for the last train home, got in at 3am this morning. Pretty tired now!

Great position. You must really have been able to discern the true meaning of his lyrics from there.

How does the 39-year-old multi-millionaire keep it real on the streets with the kids these days?

And has he paid that tax bill yet?

Afternoon All,

Many happy returns to Mini TDF and Mrs McAndy.

I give spare change and roll-ups to homeless people quite often.

I don't care for their reasons for being on the street or what they spend their money on. It's impossible IMO to feel any contempt for people who don't have a home.
