Sunset.

Would be a little odd sinking a bottle of wine watching the sunrise.

Rightfully so, if only because you have less of both Sunrise and Sunsets than most of the rest of us on this planet!!

So shoudn't they be encouraged? If I lived there I would feel deprived! Although during thr winter, the far north is probably wher eyou could have a beer with sunrise at a reasonable hour (11am!)

Nordic countries include Denmark though, and South Denmark is on the same latitude as York, so no voting for the Northeners or Scots either.

Where I live, we don't have midnight sun or polar night, we have the exact same amount of sunsets and sunrises as the UK, probably more even, because we don't have rain or fog 300 days per year. wink

I should hope that 300 is 300, be it in the UK or in the Nordic countries. hehe
