Surely somebody at the printing place should have spotted these mistakes before they were printed?

Disco is my personal favourite!

Theirs an Indian in town offering special deals on meals ordered before 7pm. The line they are using:

"on all meals pleased before 7pm"

I particularly liked the BNP leaflet that dropped through the door a couple of years ago before the last general election. The front was adorned with a picture of a mighty Spitfire, complete with "send the foreigners back" messages all over the place.

A quick Google of the squadron insignia of the Spitfire pictured revealed it was part of a Polish squadron during the Battle of Britain. Damn those foreigners who never do anything for Great Britain, eh?!
303 Squadron to be precise - pilot Jan Zumbach.

Quite liked this one a few years ago. Birmingham City Council decided to do a thank you leaflet in-house rather than pay an external (us!) agency to do the work. Result was them using the skyline of Birmingham, Alabama:

I'm not entirely sure you've spotted the depth of the mistake...

When I was in the print industry, this kind of thing happened all the time. Customers who think they're designers do their own leaflets at home, on some crappy publishing software, and then send it to us for printing.

They think they're doing so well, avoiding paying for proper design and typesetting.

Apart from the horrendous low-resolution pictures and howling, eye-curdling use of colours, there were usually spelling mistakes everywhere.

I'd call them, point out the howlers and offer to fix them. When I told them it might cost all of £25 to do that, they'd usually say 'oh no, I'm not paying that - just run it as is' rolleyes

So they'd spend a grand on printing, and send out hundreds of leaflets that basically said to potential customers 'we can't even be arsed to get our leaflets correct, so we'll probably cock your job up completely and not give a stuff about it...'

On a tangent, I bought a cheap doorbell from Ebay the other day. Predictably it's rubbish frm China - and check out the back of the packet, it's hilarious biggrin

I think my favourite is the 'blast-off plank' biggrinbiggrin

bloody hell, you'll probably be electrocuted if you plug that in, with the way they're willing to transpose letters (& maybe wires) at will.
