Brands that scream CHAV
Discussion
The only real brand I can think of being chav is Iceland, purely due to the crap on offer and the kind of custom they seem to attract. Asda isn't far off either. As far as clothing brands go, certain brands seem to attract attention from certain types of people. However, if more of the chav society could afford Boss or Versace then I have no doubt these brands would end up suffering from chav syndrome in most of our eyes too.

But every chance you'll look like a time traveller from 1999!
Seriously; just get a pair of skinny/tight jeans, plain tee shirt and hoody. You'll look like everybody else.
Skinny jeans aint really me,don't have the fringe for it you see.Back in the the 90's the jeans were as baggy as you could find and the hoodie down to your knees.Still got a load of band hoodies from years ago like,Deftones,Hed (pe),Machine Head,Pantera and a lot more I can't remember. They fit properly now though Seriously; just get a pair of skinny/tight jeans, plain tee shirt and hoody. You'll look like everybody else.
Dr. Dre Beats headphones. st quality, high price, the must be seen to have in public headphones.
I'm not sure on clothing brands, I see a Lacoste polo in the right place and it looks smart, see someone wearing one with trackies on too and they look a dick. There are certain products only a chav would wear though, Sergio Tacchini tracksuit being one of them.

Anything from Sports Soccer or Sports Direct..I.e. Cheap trackies, trainers, jumpers that mismatch and are a bit baggy...this was the original meaning of Chav.
Sports Direct own Field and Trek among others, who do some decent stuff. Suprised me when I bought some MSR stuff and it came in Sports Direct packaging.CypherP said:

+1 My wife bought a large reduced pork/stuffing joint at the weekend (not sure why she was in Iceland). I would only class it is "just edible" and that's being generous. Iceland food is BAD.... Petrolhead95 said:
Surely people scream chav, not brands.
Yes but this is Pistonheads, where opinions based on one persons inability to see that people are the main cause of trends/cliques/lifestyles not brands. We can't be having reality impose on a thread when middle and upper class are slagging off supposed working class for their lifestyles - conveniently forgetting that as long as they're buying their overpriced tat they're putting money in the economy. A friend got a Barbour jacket for Christmas from her boyfriend and that's had to go back to the shop; evidently very chav; she is a beautician and gets a lot of gypsy wedding pie key ladies in - all in their Barbour.
Isn't it the Barbour International range that's trendy at the moment, as opposed to the proper outdoor range?Lotusevoraboy said:

I'm 15. When I last bought clothes I bought some jeans, a red and white chequered shirt, a green rollneck jumper and some yellow corduroy trousers. How's that for you?Superdry, Gap, Hollister, Abercrombie, G Star etc are not Chav...what else are kids and teens meant to wear....goth or emo gear or Clarkson style jeans and a T?
