Brands that scream CHAV

A timely thread. I was about to buy a Hollister polo shirt the other day, and my wife said that Hollister is Chavey. I’m not convinced, but I’m also not willing to risk looking like a chav so didn’t bother buying it.
What does PH think, is Hollister a chav brand?
Anything at all that is purchased for the logo irrespective of price or quility is naf and common - this may well be chav. Problem is that you get loads of fakes on the market so, in time, the council scum start wearing them too. What does PH think, is Hollister a chav brand?
I'm not a fan of "brands" and despise sheeple that purchase them.

Personally i don't think any chav would spend £40 on a T shirt the same as they don't buy Super Dry. Sports Direct is definitly the way forward for chav wardrobes. What does PH think, is Hollister a chav brand?

That's exactly what they do - they are status symbols, same as gold rings and necklaces. The majority of the diffusion labels of the Armani brand are aimed squarely at chavs. No different to Burberry and Stone Island.

Timberland is getting there...
Timberland is already there and has been for at least a decade.Pauls boutique is so far beyond the pale it's almost ironic kitsch - the ONLY people I have ever seen wear this stuff were 14 year old pramfaces with a shoe size higher than their IQ.
Hollister isn't a chav brand yet IMO - but it's almost something worse - willfully trendy.
Anybody who queues up to buy their very overpriced clothes in the dark whilst being subject to what is effectively chemical warfare in their shops is a tomfool of the highest order.
