Based on dealings in recent weeks, I'm with you on that.

Whether it's chaavy or not, it's overpericed and often not particularly well made. Very much the case of paying for the label.

As an entirely irrelevant aside, I walked past Paul Smith on Notting Hill Gate last night.

Re the clubs - what are they doing on a thread about brand names in the first place?

Which is the definition of "chavvy" I'd have thought.

Think there might be more to chavvy than that. Patel Phillipe, not chavvy but there is a premium attached because of the name.

My dodgy typing strikes again. Has a certain ring to it though, don't you think.

Going to have to disagree again. Overpriced yes, but arent most brands? As to not very well made then that was the case a while ago with his T shirts but the quality is back to a good standard now.

Agree with Paramo though!
Paramo is a good call, too middle aged and unflattering (I wish they'd sort out their cut).

Buffalo, in the same vein.

Patagonia, hip but true to the climbing, mountaineering and hiking fraternity. They got the softshell thing before many other brands too, eschewing popular membranes.

I had a couple of suits from the flagship store. Not as good quality as Boss and about £300 more. I still own one of their jackets which is OK but not exceptional.

They were (may still be) selling womens handbag at nearly a grand that were made from plastic. My wife had bought a pretty much identical one in Italy, which I presume is where they were sourced, for about 60 Euro.

Aren't most BOSS suits fused linings? That kind of invalidtes them being good quality!

Beretta shotguns too perhaps?

I don't know about the linings to be honest, I view them as reasonable mass-produced suits. What I was saying was that Paul Smith suits seem no better but more expensive.

Its a while since I have shot, but from memory Beretta is like the Boss suit of the shotgun world.

Been a while since I have too, so wouldn't surprise me. In terms of chaviness though I am none the wiser!

I am not sure what brand of sporting gun is favoured by the council house renting classes. Gat?
