Wow, what a blast from the past. I can't believe that it all started 4 years ago. It was such an exciting thread for those of us following it at the time.
I'd almost forgotten that we'd not had a conclusion regarding the mysterious 'historians' and ancient documents. It all seemed very much like the plot of a film and I wondered if that was the plan.. to create a story that could be made into a film. Why would Conrad tell us about the documents at all if the contents of which needed to remain secret. Ahh.. we need to know!

Just seen the trailer for that, it's just as bad as iron sky
This must be connected to what was in the bunker, theres too many new films for it to be a coincidence.
Having spoke to CY88 via email for one reason or another, I can confirm that he has had quite a lot of problems over the whole affair, mostly to do with nutters, treasure hunters, uninvited historians, journalists and general randomers visiting his property to try to get a look at the place and hassling him for information and interviews.
With all that in mind, it is fairly understandable that he wishes to let the whole thing drop really!
