How about a McDonald's INSIDE an ASDA?

I knew kids at primary school with visible abdominal muscles. With the certainty only small children can manage, I simply concluded that this was because their families were poor. hehe

Didn't help that one of them was called "Beans", because whenever you visited his house, that's what he was eating.

Had one at our local asda, lasted a couple of months before the angry parents and the school got it closed down. The parents said it was unhealthy for the little darlings, even though there's a chippy they all use. They now have an asda cafe that serves pie, chips and cakes, the chippy is over run most lunch times and the kids are still fat.

Our local Asda has a built in Mcdonalds.

Sometimes if I doing a Sunday morning big shop and I'm there before 10am I'll get me and the lad a hashbrown to num num on the way around the shop.

And I holiday in the Dordogne.

Go figure...

A malnourished child would be good.

We generally have a Scottish takeaway once or twice a month - and my 10-year-old sons have six-packs.

Acceptable, consistent quality, which is more than can be said for a lot of the garbage people feed their children.

Nor had I, but given the context of the thread, I reckon even my dogs could work it out.

I have the opposite problem to many in that I don't mind the occasional McDonalds. In fact I'll admit it, I actually really like them now and again. There, with one sentence have shot down all my middle class credentials (also I've never been to the Dordogne, but I quite like the quieter parts of Portugal).

Anyway, my son harbours what can only be termed a pathological hatred of McDonalds, he will just not eat there. Consequently his younger sister doesn't like them either. They're happy to have a takeaway curry but a Quarter Pounder with cheese, no thanks. I blame the parents frankly for always having a proper sit down dinner.
