How much money do you spend on a night out?
Discussion
£250-£400 once a week. I'm 41 and still like a drink but not "on the town" and my current locals are ste so a night out for me is the casino.
No queues or in your face idiots, live music and decent food. It's the only place I drink and smoke so I get a good few vices out of the way in one night.
I never take my cards and only take what cash I'm happy (well not gutted) to lose. I won 4k a couple of months back and brought a car(Subaru Legacy 3.0R spec B), if I have another decent win this year I'll upgrade (S4 Avant).
I usually have a month off every few months if I'm on a health kick or have lost 4 weeks in a row which doesn't happen often.
Seems like alot but actually £250-400 is misleading as last week I came home with £800 and a free, good night out, this week down £400.
This year I'm down about 2k overall, last year down about 4k and the year before I was up 9k, which was nice.

I went out on Friday night with the boys for a few beers and knew I was meeting the new girl later on in the evening. £300 inc cabs and dinner.
But then I went out after football last night and spent all night in the local, just went and paid my tab there and it was only £25 - I think it entirely depends on the night you have/who you're with.
Both nights were good in their own ways, probably preferred Friday even though I spent 12x as much money.

i have never spent more than £50 a night, even when i actually tried to spend more. usually £40 gets me all the drinks, into a couple of clubs and a taxi home. ive never understood how you can spend £100+ on a night out?
last week i somehow managed to get particularly drunk, go to a club, and still only spent a fiver i did feel guilty that i must have been sponging/missing rounds, so i paid for the breakfasts the next morning to try and even it out

How much do you all a) drink and b) pay for booze? !!!
I pay between £2.80 to £3.30 for a pint of good beer or Guiness. As I'm old I only tend to drink 4 (5 at max) pints when I go out. If I decide to eschew the delights and savings (bus pass) of public transport and use cabs, and maybe lash out on some nibbles in the pub, I might manage to spend £25 in a night. If I use the bus and only drink its £15 max. Ok if myself and Mrs Beard got out for meal, we might spend £100 between us (Mrs B doesn't drink and therefore acts as transport)...

This has really cheered me up!
We were at a wedding last night, late arrivals (7.30) so did not get involved in any "rounds"
Total spend? £60
Except that it is only £50, as I have a tenner in change.
Tight? Me? You better believe it
Seriously though, it was the local Masonic Club, £2.20 for a bottle of beer....
Did I mention there was 2 of us?
(OK OK, I am a tight Scots git!)

Just drink - £100 - £180.
A night on "the other" £30 - £80.
What does that mean? A night on "the other" £30 - £80.
in terms of OP question anywhere between £50-£150 depending on nature of evening and assuming going dutch on meals (and not a flash meal) - but that is London prices and i drink spirits not pints
