Yes, I still use Dunhill Edition on a suitable occasion.

there was a thread a year or 2 ago on here about a free sample of very expensive aftershave, I got some but my daughter decided to knock it off the sideboard

Anyone got any idea of what this aftershave was called

Sure. I particularly like the smell of Old Spice and it is unfashionable enough to be cheap, too.
I have been looking for a decent pre-electric lotion for a while, and found a bottle of Old Spice pre-electric in the back of the cupboard. It smells a bit weird after years of sitting there, but it works a hell of a lot better than anything else I have tried. I do wish it was 'fragrance free' though.

Currently using Paul Smith Extreme and/or Lacoste Essential for during the day,

Avenues?

I got a bottle as a present, not a fan tbh.
If you got a bottle of "Avenues" you might just have some wee in a bottle, if it's Aventus and you still don't like it I'll give you £20 for the bottle, mine is running out.

Other current favourites include various Acqua Di Parma offerings (Colonia Essenza in particular) and Bleu de Chanel as a "daily". I don't even leave the house for days at a time but I still have a little spray.

+1 WTF? I happen to think it not so normal not to wear aftershave depending on where you're going.

I don't know anyone who doesn't have at least 1 bottle.

I always wear it at work. I prefer the 1980's style scents like Fahrenheit and Aramis. Aramis is what I'm using most at the moment. I've also got a big bottle of YSL Opium and some Givenchy Xeryus Rouge. I'm not too keen on the Opium but I love Aramis.

I tend to splash on quite a lot, it distracts the nose whilst you're at work.
