Indeed, the Soviets imposed draconian spoon production targets on the Stakhanovite cutlery factories north of the Urals.
Funny that you should mention the Stakhanovite factories as I've just been sent a mould from a collector in Perm whose father was a flange Commissar in the No:5 Glorious Revolutionary Peoples' Spoon Collective. This is the piece.
Ten stirring points for the first person to name the model.

I know it's a dessert spoon, but I may have a picture of the venerable NAAFI '42 implement wielded by Morgan back in 1945.

Will there be a dessert spoon thread?
I always understood that the NAAFI '42 was officially a desert spoon, with re-inforced webbing to cope with the stresses of high temperatures and camels' milk. Therefore, I am loathe to present it without approval - I await permission....

Probably somewhat late in the day to be worrying over bowl volumes.
Given my preceding narrative, I defy any true spoonist to witness the tortured flange of my old chum Morgan's NAAFI '42 and not be moved.
However, I will retire to my bed and await the nocturnal deliberations of the cognoscenti before I would presume to post a photo.
