I hear J Clarkson's personal BBC teaspoon will soon be available on the open market.
This is total rubbish

JC did have two spoons, one was an Italian Classic the other turned out to be an expensive replica of a classic American spoon.

He lost one in the divorce and he sold the usage rights of the other one to Wilman in 2010

Neither are likely to be stirred in the open market

My source tells me there is a third spoon.

A specially blacked Acme Mr Sedge limited edition.

Given its rarity and provenance I can only dream of owning such a wonderful example.

Only because you bring it up at every opportunity. You're going to have to move on, NDA, put it behind you.
My understanding was that we NEVER speak of Fremington EVER !

What? I've missed this? What happened in Fremington?

Is this where Flemke got his spoon replated because I thought it had gone back to the factory?

There's a supposedly authentic Howell-Bawar with a Nagina crafted ivory handle in Radcliffe's of Colchester. No idea of price but I've always found him fair and reasonable. (No relation to the seller.)

I have it from a reliable source that these very questions are at the heart of the current Clarkson problems. Apparently, he was going to do a light-hearted piece on speed competitions when May insisted on doing something on the history of the sport. Hammond chipped in with some nonsense about how boring it all was and how they should cover some of the more salacious events and was backed by the BBC's limp-wristed producer. Clarkson, of course, knowing the real story behind the "F" incident refused and the debate got somewhat heated.

Apparently, it wasn't a punch but a Baum & Kirchner '95 haptic shaft became airborne and bore the brunt of the resulting damage.

I am sorry to report that I have been forced into a Compromise Agreement about Fremington and cannot reveal either the disqualifications or the extent of the subsequent injuries either to the front row of spectators or other competitors.

There were enough comments earlier on to make your own picture of what went on.

Even the police are now believed to be lying about how events unfolded.

And Hugo, FYI, I was not 'escorted out' of Fremington. I had lost my way to the exit and the security men were showing me the way. I was in a great hurry to leave and they were holding me by the arms to prevent me tripping over.

Guys, we're in very dodgy territory here from a legal perspective. I'd have thought it might be best to quietly move on before the thread gets locked...

I told the Mrs I was buying this for the knife and fork references. Oh the shame if she caught me eyeing up the teaspoons.

Still, nice charity shop find smile

An elitist tome. Excludes many of the great examples of the makers craft in other metals.
