I'm not too keen on the Exhibitionists. I prefer their work from before they stopped hibitioning.

Which one of you lot wrote this? Everyone here knows that I had my own book on this subject in the works. Someone has rushed this out to get ahead of my own Meisterwerk on the subject.

the collectible spoons of the first two reiches have been criminally ignored for far too long

The straight armed, locked elbow stirring techniques used in this period are all but forgotten. Also forgotten was the enormous prejudice shown toward spoons that had their schnables snipped.

I should have known.

Some passages do indeed bear a distinct resemblance to articles I have written in the "Spooner's Gazette" over the years. If you steal from one author it's plagiarism; if you steal from many it's research.

You, sir, will be hearing from my lawyers. Soo, Grabbit and Runne are the leading litigators in cutlery cases - they have never lost a spoon-related court action.

I have always found Soo, Grabbitt and Runne better suited to the more arcane points of competitive stirring, and the arguments that develop there (and yes, I'm looking at the pair of you).

www.cutlerbuttery.co.uk have acted for me before in the matter of my disputed authentication of the Klosterhoffen Canteen, and I found them broadly knowledgeable about both Intellectual Property, and the finer areas of Flange Dissipation.

Hey! I'm the wronged party here, randlemarcus. Who was it who stole my overview of Soviet stirring techniques during the Siege of Stalingrad?

I'm not mentioning the name of the thief on this thread. Am I, AstonZagato? Eh?

Rumours are flying that the newly discovered Nazi gold train in a tunnel in Poland had Goering's dining car attached……with his spoon collection…….intact. Can you imagine the impact on the spoon market?……one of the Caravaggio portrait soup spoons alone?…..

I'm surprised to see such litigious matters being discussed on here, quite honestly. Does no one remember the infamous '94 Hocensoredow incident?

Good God man, have you no sense? Now you've mentioned that, this thread will show up on Google and we'll be inundated with hawkers and chancers looking for a bit of free info. banghead

We been over this ground before.

It was all a misunderstanding. Just because we both based our work on Boris Samovarski's first-hand account doesn't mean I stole anything. Just because you happened to find me holding photocopies of your notes doesn't mean I stole anything. As I explained at the time, I happened to be passing your house when these sheets blew out of the open window. When you found me, I was actually climbing IN to return them in an act of fraternity.

Us spoon scholars should stick together.

Splitter.

I'm not even going to bother to comment on your crass, stupid, insensitive, blundering, dense, thick, vacuous, mindless, witless, doltish, oafish, boorish, asinine, bovine post, AstonZagato..

Instead, I'll just leave the following link here. Along with the observation that the chap in the video looks disturbingly like you.......

Guys, I’m a long-time lurker on this thread but feel the need to crash the party now.

I’m sure you’ll all appreciate that many people can’t afford to collect and regularly use the great spoons of our time, be it a German model like the Schaufentok Ubertof, a UK-produced stalwart like the Rochester SuperB or something more modern like the Boson Collision(Liquid3).

With this in mind I have recently launched a spoon rental service where the more modestly endowed connoisseur can experience the joys of great spooning at a fraction of the cost. I’m aware of this forum’s non-promotion rules so I won’t link the web site here. However, if anyone is interested I’ll happily respond to a pm.

Three-weeks into this exciting venture, trading has been brisk and all five of my Hubert Tressle Roundhouses are now booked solidly booked until November 2019. Some of my more obscure (or so I thought) Slovakian models have also done very well, for instance, the Halstatt Carpathian no. 9 is booked until Christmas and the Matthius Corvinus ‘Heavy-Edge’ has had received consistently great feedback from amateurs and professionals alike.
