THat prompted this thread actually.
I was amazed at how much my opinion of him instantly plummetted.
Of all motoring journalists I've always had more respect from him than any, and the moment I saw him in that t-shirt I was amazed to realise that from that moment onwards his opinion counted for exactly zero in my mind.
SOmeone said it may have been contractual, so Id like to discover the truth and re-respect him but until then he is effectively the IT geek from The Office telling me which cars I should like
This thread was going well until this post, Chris is wearing the least crap t-shirt on your list and works for PH!

You losing respect for someone due to there clothing choice is pretty sad and I hope it's a joke.

Leave Chris alone, he is great wink

No, its like santander asking Hamilton to dress up as a cashpoint and wear a chequebook hat.
hehe

I *think* you could only safely wear one if you were going to be in the exclusive company of other PH people. Although if none of them were wearing one either, you'd still look a massive bell.

'Joke' one's aren't that popular, we'll probably lose a few of them over the coming months.

As we only print when they sell, we can show lots of designs without the risk of unsold stock. Some work, some don't but a few of the ones posted have sold quite big numbers.

Out of interest which is the most popular?

Got to agree with this. I have no issue with the non comedy t-shirts and I just see them as someone showing their interest/affection for something.

After that post BSR I think I can safely summise that this thread says a lot more about you than the people who wear the t-shirts...

Cringeworthy, the old ones were ok (I wouldn't wear one, but they were ok).

Would be interesting to see the sales figures per design wink

A friend from here once bought me a PH mug and had it delivered to my work.

Cue explanation, then pointing and laughing and comments along the lines of "What?! You talk to people on the internet, about cars?" and "Can't you just watch football, like normal blokes?" etc.

Bear in mind that's from car salespeople who found the whole notion odd, let alone normals from out there in the world.

It lives at home now and is still used daily. In private. My very own private mugshame. smile

We've just changed to a new reporting system so I can only go back a few months from here, I can do an all time Top 5 but need the shop chaps to provide that info to me. I'll ask.

From what I can see, Man Maths is the best-seller since the beginning of Dec 12.

We sell shirts into the thousands now, a few years ago it used to be into the hundreds.

I bought a Lounge tshirt with the intention of wearing it to annoy Big Al. I have worn it, but only when I had nothing else and I wasn't going to take off my jumper. redface

I like my 2 CV tshirt, but it's not a joke one and not especially PH.

As an example for tonight, 707 shirts sold in the month of April 2012 (looking at a random statement from my email inbox).
