I have been following your story from the beginning. I wish and hope that today and all the days to come are good for you.

Hope your reading Sam, good luck mate and if there is anything you need to lift your spirits just tell us. If you even fancy a ride out in a convoy of some really nice metal just shout and I am sure we can have a few turn up at your door for the trip.

As a long time lurker I remember the original, now deleted, thread and I still struggle to get my head round how evil, sadistic and vile a human can be. Treating an enemy like this is inexcusable never mind someone you used to love and care about.

OP I wish you well in your battle against this horrible illness and want to assure you that one day, when your son is older, he will find out what a great person and dad you were and will be eternally grateful to have had you in his life.

Once again, I have no words, I hope you are getting to see your son, that has to be the main goal in all of this horror, so glad you are out of hospital,

It's just horrific.

I read the original post and couldn't understand why the shear venom that Sam has had to deal with.

Again Sam your attitude has been out standing.

So sad to read this. I do hope that somewhere in all of this horridness you can find some kind of peace. I know all we can do is read and respond, but many here on PH wish you well. If there is anything we can do to help, you know where we are.

Obvious, maybe, but - Is your will set to leave your estate to your son in trust until a set age? It'd be awful if your ex had access to it if the worst happens?

Exactly, in trust till 18 if possible. Make sure you keep a diary of what has happened to you.

I don't think he has much left to put into trust - she took all his savings when she left him, and then spent them all on the divorce solicitors. Now she has the house too (at least partly paid for by Sam's parents IIRC). It sounds like the divorce settlement was treated more like probate.

Every time I see this thread appear I think some good news must be due, but every time it seems to be another kick in the face. frown

Does anybody know of any updates?

I don't like it when threads like this go quiet.

Here's hoping for the best (given the circumstances) for the op.
