The Cancer Kiss off - being dumped after diagnosis
Discussion
Wow. I haven't commented on this thread before, as I didnt really have anything else to contribute... but that latest update got me.
Poor fella
I can't believe that someone who supposedly used to love and care for him could treat him like this.
Some people really are disgusting. I hope he has a better time of it soon.
Jeez.

As great as it is to read that you're still fighting the good fight, i really wish you didn't have to pal.
This is proof that men are treated so poorly, we provide, we try and when all else fails we're hung out to dry.
Keep at it, show us what real strength is, youre a true man and we're lucky to have you here on PH.

Never posted in here before but have checked in periodically. OP you are a hero.
Some people really are truly evil - you unfortunately have found one. Makes my blood boil.
Burn the house down just to spite her. Id be tempted (only if its detached and no one could get hurt).
No that's just spiteful and will lower the actions and integrity in the face of adversity shown by the OP to date. Some people really are truly evil - you unfortunately have found one. Makes my blood boil.

What would be far better is to transfer the house into trust (parents as trustees in the event of the worst) to manage the house and all assets in the best way and for the ultimate benefit of your son to be released at an appropriate age.

His (ex) wife already owns the house, she was awarded it in the divorce settlement I think? What would be far better is to transfer the house into trust (parents as trustees in the event of the worst) to manage the house and all assets in the best way and for the ultimate benefit of your son to be released at an appropriate age.
I've had a text from Sam. He's been very poorly but is hanging in there.
Radiotherapy starts next week since the cancer has affected the nerves which travel down to the legs and he can't walk or sit up at the moment. He hasn't lost his sense of humour though!
What a guy. I absolutely take my hat off to him.

Also to add, Sam sends his apologies for not being able to respond to the many emails of support he's had.
I hope you're well enough to read this mate, and know that whatever form your journey takes, we will walk it with you.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Best wishes and thoughts with you xI hope you're well enough to read this mate, and know that whatever form your journey takes, we will walk it with you.
