I unblocked Paul McGann's kitchen sink - didn't really see much of him though
Where there things in there? A teabag growing?

Whilst it would have been fitting to have a teabag in there, it was just a standard blocked sink.

He did have a big poster of Withnail & I at the bottom of the stairs though

My mate tiled Eric Clapton's swimming pool in France. Eric wasn't there.

has Jason Plato popped in yet?
Jason Plato was once in the same building as me. He was there for some function, while I worked there. His car (911 turbo) was in the car park. I didn't see, hear or meet him.

I've heard that he's a bit of a tit.

I met Anne Robinson when I was at a recording off the weakest link, my mate then decided to put his hand on my knee when the cameras were pointing at us, I had to keep a straight face and it was on telly.

What an arrogant prick.
I would have replied "I have no idea who you are".
Thank you for not being star-struck by me. Nice bloke? That's one of the most cringeworthy things I have ever read.
He is a nice bloke in my experience. I met him at a massive work party about ten years ago. He looks like my now late Dad. While chatting I mentioned the resemblance. His reply.

"Well he must be a bloody good looking bloke then.".

Really nice guy.

I mentioned this exchange to my Old Man. Turns out they vaguely knew one another back in the 1950s/80s.

I was in the Family & Friends bit & another guest asked to swap seats. I ended up behind the "Lifer's" other half. Everytime he was on screen, so were my knees.

I once gave Michael Vaughan and Mark Nicholas a lift on a golf buggy. Got a picture with Vaughan too who seemed like a nice bloke.

It's well known that Jack Bruce drinks at my local. But despite having been there hundreds of times I've never seen him.

Probably for the best really. Not sure what bloke would like being told how amazing/great they are by another bloke in the pub hehe
My dad was a roadie on his Scottish tour in 1983. He's always said Jack was a gentleman and very professional performer.

I had a pee standing next to Terry Griffiths at Swansea cinema before a film - he didn't wash his hands and then spent the first half of the film digging into his wife's bucket of popcorn.

My parents once had a meal with the parents of 80's & 90's actress Joanne Whalley (Scandal, Singing Detective, Willow, -married Val Kilmer etc)

I don't even think said dinner party was at our house and they didn't talk about her much.

Is this tenuous enough?
