Walking in the Lakes many moons ago , we ended up swimming in Black moss pot ( google it , it's not black at all ) and I borrowed a towel from the actress who was Aveline in Bread to get dried with.

Melanie Hill , the original Aveline.

Yeah, Hundred Reasons are/were pretty good. Haven't done much for years now except the odd gig, so I don't know how they earn their money these days.

Some of the band are now in "Freeze the Atlantic" (upcoming gigs in York, Norwich and Camden in Oct/Nov), and Colin has a proper job (still music based, though) and does the occasional gig with Hundred Reasons. I wouldn't say I'm bezzy mates with Colin, but we've chatted a few times since he moved in, and he seems to be a thoroughly nice bloke.

Gilly Coman was the original Aveline, Melanie Hill took over later on.

I have once seen the bloke that played Munch in "Two pints of lager" in my regular pub.

Tenuous link, and I suppose he's tenuously famous, unless you are into rock music, but a new neighbour of mine is a bona fide, Kerrang! Award winning (well three K! awards, actually) Rock Star!

He was/is lead singer in a local band called Hundred Reasons, who released 4 studio albums and notched up 6 Top 40 singles. They played Sonisphere in July this year, on before the headliners, Slayer.
My all time favourite band!! I must've seen them at least 50 times at various gigs and festivals.
Say Hi from me. He runs Bandapp along with Yin from A these days.
Even more tedious then, I know the creative director for Bandapp.

I cooked a meal for Ant & Dec when i worked in a restaurant.

When i worked at Thorpe Park , Doreen from birds of a feather came in when we we're closed and had some coffee.

My Mate had road rage with Minty from Eastenders.

The Krankies used to be regular diners where I worked 25 years ago.

I met James May whilst having a curry in Poole High Street in 2012. Nice chap. Loads of people were approaching him when he was sat eating which was a bit rude, but when I went outside with my mates he was out there having a smoke and was more than happy to have a chat.

Those inverted commas above 'baby sat' makes that a completely different statement to the one which, I'm sure, was intended. Jimmy Saville helped many children 'get better' at Leeds Royal Infirmary....

And attempted to "resuscitate" bodies in the morgue. C**t hardly starts to describe the man.

hehe

All I meant was that person wasn't actually a baby at the time and we were merely responsible for them. I believe 12 at the time. We went to the funfair once, even at that age the poor kid was mobbed by unruly kids.

My girlfriend cooked a meal for the Top Gear presenters when they filmed the caravan trip in Dorset episode.

She bumped into Richard Hammond in the corridor but didn't recognise him as she doesn't watch Top Gear

I was doing qually for a race. David Llewellyn, who had been following me, came up after and said I was mental. He beat me in qually so I was sad. Well, until he got chucked out for being underweight. laugh

I was once on a bus in Bath and some people were getting quite excited that they could see Kate Adie walking on the pavement. I was on the other side of the bus from where I couldn't see her.
