I once worked in a supermarket and the older presenter off of the Gadget Show came in and purchased some food.

Walking down Feltam high street back in the 90's, the shops were all closed and there was 'police tape' all over the place stopping access. Walked up to three blokes who were milling around chatting, asked them "what's happening here then.?"....

One bloke said, "not much, just some filming".

Oh, ok, I said, and wandered off.....

Noel, Liam and Bonehead. Utterly blanked.

You haven't missed much, even by my standards.

Watched this being filmed for a bit in Lackington St in London at the rear of the Bloomberg offices on Finsbury Park when I was working there in 2002.

They were inviting passers by to be extras but as they couldn't give me a time-frame and I had work to do so I had to decline.

One of our guys did some work at lee Evans house, old sweaty was in at the time and he made tea for him and played the piano whilst he worked making him laugh. Said he is a top guy and down to earth, so really nice to hear that as I've always liked him.

Another workmate noticed the old harrods owner walking down Brompton road a few years back and pretended to be 'his friend', he ended up walking next to him for about a hundred yards before security moved him on.

Kevin Mcloud in EE on the Strand a few months back, seemed as equally unimpressed at the tariffs (considering their coverage and the fact half his projects were in rural areas I am amazed he chose them at all!).

My mum once gave a peck on the cheek to Barry from eastenders - top claim that one!

Very, very tenuous link here, if any at all.

I once worked with a guy who had an astonishing resemblance to Russ Abbott.

Whenever he went on holiday, people would always assume he was him and was in town doing a gig or something.

If he denied he was Russ Abbott people would get very arsey with him and accuse him of being a miserable sod so it got to the point where he would just smile and sign the autographs to avoid the grief and abuse.

So, if you have a Russ Abbott autograph at home......

My eldest looks like Frankie from The Saturdays, before she became sensible with a baby, she would spend entire evenings out in clubs not spending a penny and playing on the likeness.

Someone I shared a flat with at Uni was just on Virtually Famous on C4.

A friend of mine saw Weird Al Yankovic having a meal with two members of backstreet boys in Bristol earlier this week.

My uncle went to school with George Lazenby, arguably the least celebrated James Bond of all time.
