Couldn't be more tenuous if I tried
In about 1966, my brother was in a group (they weren't called bands then). The lads used to practise in the
conservatory at the back of our house. I remember the drummer getting in trouble. Mum shouted at him 'cos the spurs on his bass drum had scratched the step.
Said drummer became the tour drummer for 10CC, and later became the band's full time drummer.
Ladles and Jellyspoons, may I present 10CC, as snapped at Buxton Opera House last Thursday night(great gig). The drummer, Paul Burgess, is on the right, doing a bit of part-time keyboardery.
I thank you.

I saw them at Carfest ( also great gig) . He didn't once mention the step. It was as if he didn't care. Some people are just like that.In about 1966, my brother was in a group (they weren't called bands then). The lads used to practise in the

I am a direct decendent of Sir Richard Grenville; on my mother's side. For those who do not know your Englisg Civil War history, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sir_Richard_Grenville...
I went to school with Dominic Raab MP, going on the same bus to and from school with him for 7 years. Top bloke. His first car was a 2CV
My mum had tea with John Profumo, when she was still at school.
My house was previously owned my Ian Mosely, drummer from Marillion.
Ozzie Ozbourne lived nextdoor to my parents for 6 months; renting while his new place was being done up. My Dad said he was a nice guy, but appeared wasted.
Thats enough for now

Been on a stag do with Vernon Kaye's brother and a different one with Alan Hansen's son. Went to college with the band Gomez. My mate has a restaurant with Angela Hartnett. Amy Nuttall is a friend of a friend. A mate of mine is seeing a girl who used to be in Corrie. My best man has the same name as bargain hunt! Another mate met one of ladysmith black mambazo the other night. Yet another mate works on Pen Haddow's polar exploration team. A mate's Dad used to be Bernie Eccleston's accountant.
Was at a charity do a few years ago along with Danny Miller and Kirsty Leigh-Porter, both I believe were in Emmerdale....
Danny also hosted the auction on the night, as the guy who was meant to be doing it was crap. He also sold chances to have your photo taken with him with all the proceeds going to the charity. So much as these "stars" get slated, this one went out of his way to make the night a success, even though he was only there as a normal paying guest, rather than as guest of honour.
