My great aunt was Rowan Atkinson's nanny.

My mate's mum went to school with Brian Ferry

Pretty sure I'm somehow related to Bonnie Tyler, as a distant cousin married a bloke called "Tyler" and she was at the reception

My second-cousin-once-removed's husband is the son of Jill Gascoigne (star of The Gentle Touch) and step-son of Alfred Molina (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Boogie Nights, Spider Man 2 etc)

He used one of my jokes in a stage revue show he was in about 20 years ago.

Wayne Dobson (the TV magician) used to go into my mums stationary shop for all his letter heads etc. Met him once and he was a really nice bloke.

Matthew Corbett (sooty fame) used to go in there too... Eventually I think they asked him not too (bloody rude git he was).

I once flew to LA in first class and sat next to this huge guy with a beard. Got chatting as we were both watching the same movie in those little personal screens. Got to LA and was in the line in customs and my Mum and Dad (who were also on the flight) came over. Instantly my Dad said "I recognise you from somewhere?"

It was the actor John Rhys Davis (Indiana Jones, sliders, Gimley from Lord of the Rings etc). The whole flight and I didn't click who he was... But he probably quite enjoyed that.

I have just found out that we have an ex FA cup and UFEA cup football manager living a couple of doors up.

I'm not interested much in football so didn't know he was anyone famous until it was mentioned.

I went to the same school as Jim Clark, albeit at considerably different times and he spent even less time there than I did, same place as Rory Bremner. I also went to the same secondary school as Ewan McGregor.
We went to Crieff Hydro for years and Ewen McGregor lived in Crieff as a youngen I believe .

My old next door neighbours brother definitely reached at Crieff and May have been deputy head at the academy , he wasn't famous though.

Matthew Corbett lives in the same village as me and has turned into a properly grumpy old man. He does a lot of campaigning for uk waterways (a lot of people have canal barges here) and is kind of a reluctantly public figure. His house is amazing though. Bad to post a pic?

Well, of course not, that would sound terrible.

My brother used to shag the sister of Mckenzie Crook (Gareth in The Office).

I also used to play drums in a band with the son of the chap who wrote "Bananas in Pyjamas"...
