That's not tenuous - you're pretty much a celebrity!

I'm on a forum with a bloke who was in nearly all episodes of Horses Galore, a kids documentary back in the 70's, and was seen falling off in one episode.

I'm Sir Alexander Fleming's first cousin four times removed.

I once saw Iain Banks in our local Tesco.

My dad was a Royal Highland Show sheep-shearing champion (Blackface class).

I was in my local supermarket yesterday evening and went to get a packet of Taco shells, just as I got to the place they are kept Klaus Ludwig picked up the last packet, read something on it and then put it back.
He started to wander off so I put it in my basket. He then turned around to get it again but saw me walking past him grinning with it in my basket.

I live next door but one to Melinda Messenger and about 1/4 of a mile away from Andrew Lloyd-Webber.

I once shouted at Princess Anne to "stop doing that, you bloody idiot"

I gave Camila Parker Bowles (and her previous hubby) a lift in a Mini Metro from Knightsbridge Barracks to the Lancaster Hotel for the annual Cavalry Ball.

I've done lots of 'interesting' stuff with various actors and music industry people - none of which I'll ever document on this or any other website hehe

The band I was in was 'briefly famous in the late 1990s' according to the Wikipedia page.

I didnt realise at the time but when I was a student I met Joanna Lumley - I was sitting in the lounge of the hotel I lived in, when an XJS pulled up outside and a blonde woman ran into the hotel and asked me where the police station was. I advised her it was next door and she drove off. My girlfriend ran in and said - did you see that Joanna Lunley just came in then dashed out.

This lunchtime I had a brief conversation with a young chap while waiting in a restaurant queue. Afterwards, my companion pointed out that the chap was a famous TV magician called Dynamo.

I liked his bobble hat.

I made sure the elevator was at ground level for the King and Queen of Norway, opened the door to see them clattering up frost covered metal steps.

I'm quite proud of the fact my relationship with Ex Norwegian Prime Minister and now NATO Boss Jens Stoltenberg was once externaly verified as 'nodding terms'

Matthew Corbett lives in the same village as me and has turned into a properly grumpy old man. He does a lot of campaigning for uk waterways (a lot of people have canal barges here) and is kind of a reluctantly public figure. His house is amazing though. Bad to post a pic?
I live there too!

I used to work for a large mobile network in one of their stores. One day, a bloke came in and I spent a couple of hours helping him out with setting up various things on his new phone etc. He was a northerner, so we got chatting about what brought him to my neck of the woods (Southampton). Turns out, he was the singer in a band (called Mr Hudson and The Library - he was Mr Hudson) and was in town to do a support gig with a certain Ms.Winehouse! He was a top bloke, regaling all of the stories of touring with her and stuff...!

As you do, I tried to butter him up for some backstage tickets! Didn't get them, but he very kindly put me and 3 mates on the vip guest list. Turned up at the Guildhall that evening, got to jump the queue and got in our own little area to see, what turned out to be, one of Winehouses last ever gigs.

I think he had a few big-ish songs released not long after that. Lovely fella!
