Matthew Corbett lives in the same village as me and has turned into a properly grumpy old man. He does a lot of campaigning for uk waterways (a lot of people have canal barges here) and is kind of a reluctantly public figure. His house is amazing though. Bad to post a pic?
I live there too!
In Matthew Corbett's house?

This lunchtime I had a brief conversation with a young chap while waiting in a restaurant queue. Afterwards, my companion pointed out that the chap was a famous TV magician called Dynamo.

I liked his bobble hat.
I went to school with Dynamo. smile

Many years ago met Ron Dennis, Gerhard Berger and Ayrton Senna and had to show them round an engine test that I was responsible for at the time.

Last night, on a flight from Glasgow to Heathrow, I sat behind and to the right of Jimmy Somerville of '80's pop bands Bronski Beat and The Communards.

Once sat chatting to a nice bloke in a curry house in Dorchester. Asked what he did, entertainer is what he said.

Saw him a few weeks later playing Simon's Dad in the Inbetweeners.

Didn't click smile

You were drowning in Sarah Greene's fanny? I don't think that's very tenuous.

I used to work with a guy whose brother was Jeremy Green and played the kid in the BBC comedy "So Haunt Me".

My Great Great Great Great Great Gandfather was Sir John Franklin but our lineage is a result of a prodigy from one of his mistresses (allegedly).

I spoke to Willie Rushton and made him laugh when I worked for Barclaycard in the 1980s.

I also spoke to Eric Clapton at the same place but at the time I didn't know who he was.

Ken Dodd used to shop in our local parade of shops and my dad fixed his TV.

I went to school with Craig Charles (he was a year below me).
