Gail Tilsley off Corrie was on our train to London last night' she looked at me as if I should know who she was, the wife had to tell me.

...it was in First Class obviously!
I once lived opposite the football club she was/ is president of.
I once watched a film where she was sitting in a basket of a BMX bike which lifted off the ground and flew over a small town to avoid the authorities.

Walked past Boris Becker this afternoon, he was sat outside a bar in Mayfair smoking a tab. He's scuffed the matt black wrap on the back of his Merc SLS.

Hercules?

If so, that is very cool indeedlaugh
It was Hercules and the owners name was Andy.

Apparently Back at the airport going home , Andy walked through the check in queues carrying a large mast wearing his trunks and a cowboy hat .

Nobody said a dickie bird.

a friend of mine used to work for Sky TV and once stood in the smoking shelter at work and had a chat with David Soul who was also smoking at the time.

I had a slash (and mid-slash chat about Spurs' prospects that season) with Dave out of Chas 'N' Dave at a curry house in Bracknell.

I had gone to se them do a turn there, they hadn't just randomly turned up. All you can eat curry buffet plus Chas 'N' Dave ... properly livin' the dream!

I am now singing (in my head) 'Gercha' but replaced by 'korma'.

circa 1988 when on holiday with my parents my elderly grandmother and her sister were left in charge of the house. As a night out they went to see Chaz and Dave who were ably supported by what they described as a 'blue' comedian, wish I could have been there, then again it was probably as inappropriate for 12 year old me as for 80 year old them.....

I was once in a video shop in Walthamstow (E17!) at the same time as Brian Harvey from East 17 (the words 'video shop' should suggest to you that this was at the time when he was a bit famous, before he ran over his own head)

he was driving an awful barried E30 convertible

Lennox Lewis once told my I was parked in a stupid place

he was in a gold 500SEC

Last night, on a flight from Glasgow to Heathrow, I sat behind and to the right of Jimmy Somerville of '80's pop bands Bronski Beat and The Communards.
Did he have a little black case, and a sad and lonely face?

I was listening to Roxy Music's "Re-make/Re-model" from their first album, and there's a line in it mentioning a car number plate, CPL593H. Well, my dad used to have a series 2 Land-Rover with a number that was only a few digits away!

Ed Sheeran is friends with my sister (met him at YMT in Plymouth) and he used to stay on our sofa when playing gigs in the midlands. Have been to see him with less than 10 people in the "crowd", was quite surreal seeing him at Glasto this year!

IIRC it was a Mini Clubman, so hardly surprisingly. Dad's Landie appears to be the same.
