Mrs Get is currently on the phone to Esther Rantzen, Julian Clary was filming in my house last month, and I'm having dinner tonight with Gordon and Stella Murray.

Life in the North West Highlands eh? wink

Many years ago I bought a car from Gordon Murrys neighbour (Rover 2000 I seem to recall) down in Surrey.

The guy was some sort of music person, (he had a gold disc on the wall from some famous singer/band but I can't remember who they were!) so maybe I bought a car from Mr Carter!

Last night, on a flight from Glasgow to Heathrow, I sat behind and to the right of Jimmy Somerville of '80's pop bands Bronski Beat and The Communards.
Did he have a little black case, and a sad and lonely face?

I was once mistaken in Manchester for the slap-headed crooner. I think that means I now qualify for "I'm a Celebrity" and "Celebrity Big Brother".

Loving the Hercules stories - I wanted a bear instead of younger brothers when I was 8 years old. Still do actually.

My half brothers step mums nephew used to be the drummer in Franz Ferdinand. Never met the guy.

Apparently one time they went for a drink in a bar which coincidentally happened to be doing a 'Franz Ferdinand' themed night. They had to beat a hasty retreat.

Ed Sheeran is friends with my sister (met him at YMT in Plymouth) and he used to stay on our sofa when playing gigs in the midlands. Have been to see him with less than 10 people in the "crowd", was quite surreal seeing him at Glasto this year!
I trust you no longer speak to her as she clearly didn't try and pursuade him into another career wink

I found at at my wedding this year that my wife's, mother's, cousin's, husband is the cousin of Shania Twain's ex husband.

Get in. Not sure whether to invite her round for Christmas or not.

My cousins cousin used to be in Holly Oaks and apparently bummed someone. I think the same lad was also in Coronation Street but I don't know if there was any bumming.

One of my cousins who I haven't seen for years is one of the cops in 'Traffic cops/motorway cops'.

I asked another one the cops out of 'Traffic cops/motorway cops' if I could use my phone to call work after they had stopped traffic on the M42 one morning (meanwhile his colleague 'Jess' was giving me the eye). He said yes.

David Davies (the F.A. guy I believe) walked past Wetherspoons in Redditch last Saturday afternoon, as we were sat by the window.

I saw Jet from Gladiators at a kit car show in Stoneleigh(sp?) 20 years ago (she gave me the eye).

I used to work with someone who was a distant cousin of Naomi Watts.

I once saw Dominic Littlewood tucking into his evening meal at the Ramada Jarvis in West Ealing. He didn't seem to approve of us all staring over.

I once interrupted some filming on Stafford station platform by accidentally walking straight between the actors who were filming a scene. It was the smooth manager from 'The Office', the one who came from the Swindon branch, Patrick someone, and Stephen Mangan.

As a student, I used to work at The Bear in Havant. Petula Clark used to stay there, when seeing her kids at school nearby. It was my job to knock her up in the mornings, with a cup of tea.
You had a job? Knocking up Petula Clark?

Blimey?

What were the interview questions? I'm sure I'm not the only one interested.... biggrin
