Had dinner next to a Gerard Butler on Sunday night.
Didn't have a clue who he was even after we were introduced.
Had to Google his name
Really lovely bloke.
He said hello to my daughter who was two at the time in Heathrow and told me she was very sweet. Does that make us friends swerni?

...didn't see him though.
Missed opportunity to sing a song with him. We are sailing!

I flew to Palma for a night of partying with a mate, and Annie Lennox was sat alongside us on the plane.

She is tiny like Kylie.

To continue the tenuous links to famous people, the car he was driving was not his, it was Rebekah Brooks's.
There were no insurance issues but a follow up confirmed the car was actually 'owned' by News International.

I crossed the Atlantic with Kenny Ball and Stu Francis, in the same way, queued next to Kenny Ball and chatted to him, was very nice, sadly no longer with us.
Stu Francis was just an unfunny miserable git.

He became very withdrawn and suffered from severe depression as rheumatoid arthritis took hold. Once Stuart could no longer crush grapes the work just dried up

I once had lunch with then-reigning BTCC champ Alain Menu. Well I say had lunch, what I actually mean is he sat at the table next to me in the foodhall in Lakeside.

I’ve also spent an afternoon in the pub with former Tottenham footballer Andy Booth. His girlfriend was on my course at uni. Nice bloke and happy to get a round in even though he was drinking coke IIRC.

On a similar theme, as a kid my gran used to babysit Billy Wright.

This has reminded me of another one.

I walked past Ross Kemp in Elstree Studios (I was doing some work there). Its like we're brothers!

I once spent the evening looking after Maggie Moone. Yes, THE Ms. Moone from 'Name That Tune'.

She was guest singer at a charriddy golf event/supper my boss was hosting. She was jolly pleasant.
