My godfather’s brother in law is (was?) saxophonist with the Average White Band
My mum’s cousin (one of 40!) is Paul McCartney’s ex business manager
My sister was at the same college at the same time as Marc Almond (Soft Cell)
I was at junior school with a lad called Stuart Rimmer who played for Everton for a VERY short while.
A Uni mate has now been to 3 evening soirees at number 10 with Dave and Sam, and about 200 others…no progress on IR35 getting chucked either!
Do I win something? smile

She could do literally whatever she wanted. I'd let her curl one out on my forehead.

For your admittedly foul perverted thoughts I still think you have incredibly bad taste in women.

Cannot stand the woman to be honest.

I'm surprised Sam and Dave were invited, although it does show remarkably good taste on the part of the Government - pity that Dave died in 1988. Weakens the jamming session no end.

I have recently been in a house which once belonged to a footballer whose name I've forgotten but he used to play for Aston Villa.

I will ask my friend the name of the footballer.
I was in a restaurant in La Caleta in Tenerife when in came Big Ron Atkinson and his leather skinned face lifted wife , Now Big Ron who isn't big anymore used to manage Aston Villa and might have been in the same house as you because an ex Villa player lived there so my tenuous link might be all the way back to you , but if you're not famous it doesn't do this thread any good .
I've checked it and it seems there is an overlap because the former owner of the house was Ian Taylor.

And I've just found out that my landlords are twins James and Adam Chambers of West Brom fame. I knew their names but I don't follow football so didn't know that they played it.

He is the CEO of a computer generated special FX studio in the UK. His company was responsible for, among other things, the nose on Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter. He was a full on computer geek back when I started going to school with him at 7 years old. His father was a mad professor and his house looked like the set of a Disney film.

Not a chap called Nigel somethingorother who made a big helium-filled "UFO" a few years ago for a prank that was broadcast on TV?

JP Smith CEO of Imagineer systems. I went to Hulme Grammar with him from 7 to 18 years old. Used to be 3 of us, JP,a lad called Gareth and myself, as best friends but we drifted into different social groups around 17.

Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet's brother is going round my mate's place tonight to fix his cooker hood.

It could only be better if he was sorting the plumbing, because on seeking the stopcock he could say, "I don't need this pressure on, I don't need this pressure on!"

In that case, my tenuous link to a famous person is that I went to the same school as JP Smith CEO of Imagineer systems hehe I have, however, googled him and it's fair to say that he's a fair few years younger than me. Prof. Brian Cox was in the year above me. His sister was a honey.

Pal of mine worked in New Jersey for a bit and was at a US mate's house for a beer. Said mate had a pic of his High School wrestling team in the bog (the photo, not the team) which featured a 17 year-old Tom Cruise. I think Tom was actually in the team, I don't think he just stuck his likeness into the school pic, even if it was hanging in the khazi.

My brother also lived in the US for a while. His housemate's girlfriend was Maria Carey's room-mate at college. Housemate had seen Maria in the buff allegedly.

This is as tenuous as it gets. I'll try and scrape the barrel for worse.
